In "Shiver", Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in "Linger", they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping dangerous secrets. For Sam, it means grappling with his werewolf past ...and figuring out a way to survive the future. But just when they manage to find happiness, Grace finds herself changing in ways she could never have expected...
Review:
Before I read Linger I had high expections becuase of Shiver. I adored the love story between Sam and Grace, it was a refreshingly different take on the recent and popular " Boy meets girl, girl and boy fall in love...Wait for it... The boy can sparkle in the sun!!" YA stories out there right now. Once aspect I enjoyed about Shiver was Grace and her strong minded characteristics- definitely a real reprsentation of my generation. However In Linger one thing I missed was Grace's impact, because Linger has more narrators (something I did enjoy).,I would of liked to hear more from her a little bit more. Other than that I REALLY REALLY LOVED LINGER. I think Maggie out did herself yet again. Her words are coated in love and lyrics!
